“To uplift the choir members’ zeal and bring them closer to our Lord God,” said Brother Sherwin De Jesus, district overseer for Church officers, as the aim of the special gathering attended by all choir members in the Ecclesiastical District of Greater Toronto at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Toronto on September 10, 2023.

The event was officiated at by Brother Raul Adalla, district supervising minister. Through his Bible-based preaching, he reminded the Church officers that the duty they possess is God-given and so it is God Who expects them to fulfill it wholeheartedly, among His other commandments.

Activities like these in the Church are eagerly anticipated by the Church officers because, during such occasions, they feel “blessed. The Lord God’s presence is truly felt, especially when we altogether sang hymns of praises to Him,” expressed Kate Masagca.

“We’ve learned and are continuously reminded to believe in, trust in, and rely on what God can do for us. This special gathering of choir members is a source of inspiration as we continue performing our duties to the best of our abilities despite the many troubles and trials in life,” said Nerissa Dulay, choir directress. — With reports from INC News Section
