The Local Congregation of St. Thomas, Ontario, Ecclesiastical District of Southern Ontario, held its inaugural worship service on October 15, 2023, which coincided with the district’s fifth anniversary.

Brother Jose Razon II officiated at the sacred gathering. In his Bible-based sermon, the district supervising minister expounded on the importance of taking care of the body by having a healthy lifestyle as they actively serve God inside the true Church.

Thereafter, Brother Jomar Rombaua, resident minister of the Local Congregation of Mississauga, led the oath-taking of a set of pioneering officers, who will oversee and lead the brethren in this newly established local congregation.

“It’s a blessed occasion,” happily said Roy Alvin Gaddi, a head deacon. On behalf of the congregation, he added, “We express our gratitude to the Church Administration and, most especially, to our Almighty God.”

“The establishment of the Local Congregation of St. Thomas is a great blessing from our Almighty God,” said Brother Razon. “We promise that we will remain united with the Church Administration in unconditionally obeying all of the commandments of our Lord God,” he added.

The Local Congregation of St. Thomas sprang forth from the Local Congregation of London, both of which are situated in Ontario, Canada. — With reports from Nigil Erran C. Anor of INC News Section
