Young Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Texas were one with their fellow Church youth around the world in commemorating the 50th anniversary of the KADIWA and Binhi organizations this year. They did so by attending a special gathering on October 21, 2023.

Brother Virginio G. Ramilo II, district supervising minister, officiated at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Humble.  He taught the youth, based on the words of God written in the Bible, to stay on the right path by following God’s instructions and living by them. This commitment is essential to safeguard their membership inside the Church and secure their right to receive salvation on Judgment Day.

“Social media is a very big aspect in our lives, especially in our society. The lesson really highlighted how we, as members of the Church Of Christ, should live, that is, as true Christians even online,” said Raniela Pangilinan, the district Binhi president.

Sharing her zeal to fellow KADIWA members, district KADIWA president Blessie Mariel Maguigad said that she will encourage them to “remain strong and steadfast in the faith, never allowing themselves to be led astray from God’s teachings.”

“It’s important that the youth be aware of the dangers to our faith, such as the temptations and vices of this world,” shared Brother Jeffrey Domingo, Christian Family Organizations (CFO) district overseer. “They must always put their faith, trust, and hope in our Almighty God.”

KADIWA is the organization for unmarried members of the Church, 18 years old and above; Binhi is for baptized members ages 12 to 17.  — With reports from Maefanwe Zaragosa of INC News Section
