From October 2 to 7, 2022, the Ecclesiastical District of Tokyo, Japan, held evangelical missions daily.

With the lead of Brother Manny Benedicto, the district supervising minister, resident ministers and ministerial workers officiated the nightly evangelical missions from their respective places and houses of worship. In each of the local congregations, the propagational activity was also streamed live to the homes of brethren where other guests were also gathered.

For his part, Brother Benedicto officiated the evangelical mission in the Local Congregation of Yokohama on October 7. He taught the attendees a Bible-based lesson about the importance of following God’s command for one to receive salvation come Judgment Day; other ministers and ministerial workers taught lessons that were approved by the Church Administration.

Guest Mukouyama Kazuko also noticed the openness of the brethren. He said in Nihongo, “I felt good attending this missionary activity. Church members let me feel I am important. They are cheerful and loving.”

One of the Church officers in the Yokohama Congregation, Elaine Takeuchi, said, “It’s heartening to unite in propagating God’s words. I will not stop uniting with the Church Administration.”

“Although brethren here in Japan also experience problems and tribulations in this life, their faith does not waver; they continue to help intensify the work of propagation,” Brother Benedicto said. — With reports from INC News Section
