Building more houses of worship has become a significant part of the Church’s growth, one proof of which is that of the Local Congregation of Upper Bicutan, Ecclesiastical District of Makati, in the Philippines, that was dedicated to God on September 8, 2023 through a special worship service.

Brother Diosdado Dades, district supervising minister, led the service. During his Bible-based sermon, he gave emphasis on the importance of building houses of worship.

“The house of worship plays a vital role in our lives as members of the Church of Christ, because this is where we pray and render worship and services to the Lord God. It is the place wherein He promises to listen to the prayers of His faithful servants,” Brother Dades said in an interview after the gathering.

“No matter how busy I am in my daily responsibilities, I will not neglect our divine obligations,” said Wella Lamboso, a choir member. “I’m very thankful for having been part of this precious milestone of our local congregation knowing this happens only once in our life,” she added.

The Church members were so eager to have a new house of worship. Brother Lloyd Galang, resident minister, attested, “The brethren allotted time to help in the construction work. They were so elated to show their utmost cooperation in this holy endeavor led by the Church Administration.”

The new 240-seater edifice is situated at Phase 3, Block 11, Lot 10, A. Bonifacio St., Barangay Upper Bicutan, Taguig City, approximately nine kilometers away from the district office in Evangelista St., Brgy. Bangkal, Makati City. — With reports from INC News Section
