The Ecclesiastical District of Australia West conducted baptisms simultaneously on June 26, 2023 at Melbourne and Perth, the capital cities of Victoria and Western Australia, respectively.

Brother Romeo Beltran, district supervising minister, officiated the baptismal service at the Melbourne Congregation’s house of worship; Brother Felix Santos, assistant district supervising minister, in that of Perth Congregation.

The officiating ministers taught the candidates for baptism the teachings of God written in the Bible that encouraged them to continue living in holiness. They were also admonished to all the more dedicate themselves to their worship and service of God amidst many trials and problems.

“Being dedicated to the service of the Lord God can be proven by being actively involved in the various endeavors of the Church, such as living in holiness,” said Brother Santos.

“The renewal of life has great relevance with receiving salvation when Judgment Day comes,” said Brother Beltran.

Kylie Varcas from Wyndham Congregation, a newly baptized member, said, “It’s a special day for me. Having been cleansed of my sins, I will all the more uphold the intensive renewal of life.” — With reports from Jennelin Guanzon of INC News Section
