To strengthen camaraderie and the love of brotherhood, youth members below 18 years old in the Local Congregation of Barangka-Mandaluyong, Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila East in the Philippines, met for ‘Binhi Friendship Day’ on November 26, 2023. A public multipurpose hall along Makaturing St., Barangka Itaas, Mandaluyong City, Philippines, served as venue.

The congregation’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers organized the said activity under the supervision of Brother Armel Magbanua, the congregation CFO overseer. He led everyone in a prayer, and then delivered his opening remarks.

Musical performances of talented Binhi members, featuring several INC original music, followed.  The attendees also enjoyed wholesome games that the organizers prepared for the attendees.

“It’s fun. We’ve been inspired to be more dedicated in fulfilling our duties and to carry on with our services to our Lord God,” said Elize Heather Del Rosario, Binhi president, on behalf of her fellow youth. “We got to know each other more, our bond and brotherhood strengthened,” added Justine Galay, Binhi area leader, “I hope we all stay active, ever enthusiastic members of the Church.”

The program culminated with the closing remarks by Brother Rodillo Gache, resident minister, wherein he encouraged the youth to remain firm in the faith, one of which is by choosing wisely their friends, that is, those who will not lead them astray from God. He led them in a prayer afterwards. — With reports from INC News Section
