Benguet District: CBI members’ faith fortified before school starts

It’s back to school for CBI members. But for those from the Ecclesiastical District of Benguet, it was not before being equipped with needed spiritual “fortification” to remain strong in the faith whatever they may face as they pursue their studies.
This the high school and college student-members of the Christian Brotherhood International received through the most important knowledge of all, the teachings of God, during a special gathering in the house of worship of Baguio City Local Congregation on August 27, 2023.
Brother Jessy Capuno, the district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred occasion. In his homily, he emphasized from the Bible that in order for the students to become successful in their studies and in their lives, they must learn first to obey the commandments of the Lord God.
The district leadership expressed high hopes that the purpose of the activity to help the students to be all the more prepared to face the different challenges that they may encounter was fulfilled, with God’s help.
“We want to express our gratefulness to our Lord God, for through the Church Administration, He allowed us to conduct this sacred occasion for the sake of our youth brethren before they go back to their classes,” enthused Brother Ian Manalata, the assistant district supervising minister. — With reports from Clariz Hidalgo of INC News Section
