The leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe deemed it timely to gather would-be members from various local congregations to further edify them in the faith in the face of the many problems, today. The special gathering was held on April 14, 2024.

The attendees gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Val d’Oise, France, which served as the host site. Others, from the Local Congregations of Brussels, Geneva, Marseille, Monaco, Nice, and Torhout, witnessed the occasion in their respective places of worship via videoconferencing.

Brother Zjefley Morano, assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the holy gathering. During his Bible-based lecture, he expounded the importance of striving to enter the Church Of Christ for people to be certain of receiving salvation on Judgment Day. However, he added, God seeks those who enter the true Church to become and remain active members. This they can prove by being obedient to all of God’s commandments, such as always attending worship services, and being prayerful, among others.

“The Church Administration cares not only for the baptized members of the Church, but also for those who are in the process of entering the Church,” stated Brother Louis Eor, ministerial worker assigned in the Local Congregation of Val d’Oise, France. “They want to ensure that people continue on in their process of entering the Church and … be active [and] obedient members of the Church.”

“I am happy for I was able to attend this,” expressed Serlito Corpuz, a doctrinal instructee from the Local Congregation of Bastille, France. Having understood God’s commands which he should fulfill, he expressed his hope that “God, our Father may have mercy on me, that I will soon be a member of the Church.”— With reports from Ronald Daniel Mendoza and Laura Ann Tumbaga of INC News Section
