In all the local congregations of the Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia, a Binhi Forum was held on February 19, 2023. Members of Binhi, the organization of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) for its youth aged 12 to 17, broadened their knowledge on safe internet usage.

Organizers and attendees gathered at their respective places of worship. Reminding their fellow youth members to be careful in using the internet, especially social media, Binhi officers discussed some common issues that arise online, and the possible dangers that these might pose if they use the internet carelessly.

Asked what he highlighted when he led those from the Local Congregation of Johor Bahru, Noah Jeremy Delos Reyes, district Binhi president, said, “As true Christians, we should always be cautious with the type of content or entertainment we visit online; they must not go against God’s will.”

“I learned that I should be mindful whenever I’m online. So, I’ll always think critically. I will not follow right away someone just because his or her opinion is popular,” said Aishi Corpuz, choir member and Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) president in the Local Congregation of Northwest. ― With reports from INC News Section
