In response to the call of the Church Administration to be active in all Church activities, brethren from the Local Congregation of Winnipeg North, Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba, Canada joined a table tennis activity on March 13, 2022, which was organized by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) local leadership.

Organizers of the activity designated three venues and encouraged the brethren to attend in the venue nearest to them. On the day of the sporting event, the three venues were connected via videoconferencing. Brother Felman Saren, resident minister, led the brethren in the activity.

Before friendly matches were played in each of the venues, brethren who are avid table tennis players, taught first time players the basics of the game.

Ramon Angeles, one of the participants, said that the activity “strengthened their family bond” and he would continue to bring his family “in Church activities for their edification in the faith.”

The province of Manitoba lifted its restrictions on indoor and outdoor sporting activities last February. — With reports from INC News Section
