Being in the world’s largest island and one of the coldest places on earth, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Greenland Group Worship Service (GWS) proved how enormous their faith is by not growing cold in the work of sharing it with others. On May 7, 2023, they distributed copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine at the city of Ilulissat.

“It’s so delightful to be able to help in the works of the Church. Temperatures here might be freezing but our faith remains aflame. We will continue this work we began here in Ilulissat,” shared Arnold Dulin, deacon from the Local Congregation of Copenhagen, Denmark.

It is approximately a six-hour flight from Ilulissat to Copenhagen where Arnold hails from. Meanwhile, Greenland is an 8-hour flight from Oslo, Norway, where the office of the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe is located. Be that as it may, Brother Joel Catalan, assistant district supervising minister, led the activity hands-on in giving the Church’s magazines and pamphlets to the locals. He said that the brethren’s participation “proves that no matter the situation, wherever they are, Church members are active in obeying God’s commands.”

Recipients of the religious tracts expressed their joy and interest about the Church Of Christ.

As of this writing, the Northern Europe Ecclesiastical District supervises 17 local congregations, one extension, and 29 GWS in 11 countries. — With reports from Anna Dulin of INC News Section
