Church members from the Ecclesiastical District of Washington State concerted their efforts in helping their community by donating to the Northwest Harvest Food Bank in Seattle, Washington, USA.

The event, held on February 3, 2024, began with an opening remark from the district supervising minister, Brother Ramil Regino. He explained that INC Giving is an avenue for Church members working together to lend a helping hand to those in need in their own humble way.

Among the foods donated through the INC Giving project were canned meat proteins, milk, canned vegetables, canned fruits bread, homecare items, among others.

Mr. James Nelson, a representative of the food bank, expressed his appreciation to the Church members’ kind gesture. “It costs us a lot to produce what we have now in the food bank. So, we cannot thank [the Church Of Christ] enough for what you’ve done for us. We’re getting nothing but great feedback from our food bank partner about what we are getting now, so again, we thank you very much for this,” he said.

Brother Regino said that the District of Washington State, with the brethren’s cooperation, has plans to reach out to other organizations. — With reports from Frendhel Fejeran and Dianne Lorido of INC News Section
