Buklod in Johor Bahru leads blood donation

Buklod members from the Local Congregation of Johor Bahru, Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia, spearheaded a blood donation drive on October 15, 2023.
The socio-civic activity took place in the Johor Bahru Blood Donation Suite, The Mall Midvalley Southkey, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia, in cooperation with Pusat Darah Negara (PDN), a blood transfusion service center established under the Ministry of Health.
The brethren-volunteers first registered themselves and underwent health examinations to know if they were qualified to become blood donors.
In an interview after the activity, Monica Lim said, “I’m so happy to be part of this blood donation drive. Having been able to show concern for my fellowmen even in a small way feels so rewarding and priceless.”
Buklod (bond) is one of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) which comprises married members. — With reports from Aizhel Tabudlong of INC News Section
