Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Cambuac, Ecclesiastical District of Bohol, in the Philippines, showed concern to the environment by holding a tree planting activity at Barangay Cambuac Sur, Sikatuna, Bohol, on September 15, 2023.

Led by the congregation’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, the brethren planted seedlings of mahogany and rambutan trees.

Janel Plaza, Binhi president, expressed, “It’s a pleasure to be here participating in this activity.”

Aside from “promoting environmental conservation,” this socio-civic activity “has also brought enthusiasm and stronger bond among the brethren,” said Brother Franz Daria, resident minister.

“We in Cambuac Congregation will not cease to participate in all of the activities launched by the Church Administration,” Brother Daria added on behalf of the congregation. — With reports from Kristine May Apat and Louise Cabahug of INC News Section
