A total of 1,200 residents of three villages, Barra, Dalahican, and Mayao Parada, in Lucena City, Quezon, Philippines, benefited from the Care for Humanity the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon organized at the house of worship compound of the Local Congregation of Dalahican on October 25, 2023.

“We do this [Care for Humanity] because our Lord God wants us to help our fellowmen,” Brother John Norin Anunciacion, district Light of Salvation overseer, explained. “Under the leadership of our Executive Minister, we continue to give aid to all our countrymen to be of assistance to their needs.”

Brother Criselio De Lazo, district supervising minister, together with the ministers in the district, led the brethren in giving care packages to their fellowmen. These contained rice, and canned goods, among others.

“This is a great help for me and for our community,” Amanda Robles, a resident in Dalahican, remarked. “We can see the aim of the Church Of Christ is doing good to us through these care packages.”

“It’s a blessing to receive this aid that will help me and my family in our needs,” said Maria Victoria Lalaguna, another resident of the said village. — With reports from Denise Dejelo of INC News Section
