Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite South, in the Philippines, joined hands in bringing more than 8,000 guests to attend the district-wide evangelical mission on August 25, 2023.

The brethren and guests gathered not only at the CARSIGMA gymnasium, the main venue, in Carmona, Cavite, but also at 77 remote sites throughout the district, which connected to the former via livestreaming.

Brother Gerry Purificacion, a minister of the gospel sent by the Church Administration, led the study of God’s words. He highlighted to the attendees the importance of the true Church Of Christ for the salvation of people on the Day of Judgment.

After the evangelical mission, many of the guests expressed their desire to continue examining the doctrines upheld by the Church. “I am grateful to those who invited me here as I was able to hear the doctrine of the Church Of Christ. As what was taught, it is very important for people to enter the Church to receive salvation on Judgment Day,” said Maria Sherliy Glori, one of the guests.

“I am a Catholic, but my mind is open to accept God’s will that I just heard. I’ve understood in the lesson taught that the Church which Christ redeemed with His blood is the Church Of Christ. This is where people must enter for them to be saved,” disclosed Leonora Bendal, another guest.

“With God’s help, despite my busy work schedule, I’m still able to fulfill my duties in the Church as a choir member and also in sharing the true faith,” enthused Maricel Hidalgo from the Local Congregation of Carmona. She was able to bring with her more than 300 guests. They “came from different barangays (village), some of whom are my friends and neighbors,” she added. —With reports from of INC News Section
