Fully convinced that the most precious wisdom is that which leads to eternal life, members of the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) from the Local Congregation of Gingoog City, in Misamis Oriental, Mindanao, Philippines, took the opportunity to share the true faith by inviting guests to an evangelical mission on October 17, 2022 at their house of worship.

“We, in the CBI, planned for this evangelical mission. Days prior, we held devotional prayers and also distributed invitations to our schoolmates. We thank the Lord God because many of them accepted our invitation to join us for a study of God’s words,” shared Allyza Arquita, a college student and the CBI chapter president.

In the evangelical mission, Brother Rosilier Endil, a minister of the gospel and the district secretary, preached a Bible-based lesson on the importance of seeking and joining the true Church Of Christ as it is the one redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ and to which salvation is promised.

One of the guests, Accountancy student John Castorico, said, “When I was invited to the evangelical mission, I did not hesitate to go. The Church Of Christ has been a subject of my curiosity since its activities are flourishing here in our city. As I was listening to the preaching, I was amazed of its clarity—you can see that the answers came from the Bible. I want to know more about this Church. I will continue to listen to its Bible studies.”

“The CBI plays a great role in reminding the brethren who are in high school and college, not just of the value of being diligent in their studies, but more importantly, of being obedient to God at all times,” said Brother Felix Uayan Jr., ministerial worker and CBI adviser. “We continue to remind them to remain active in all Church activities, one of which is sharing the true faith.”  –With reports from INC News section
