The Christian Employees Association (CEA), the organization within the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) for its members who are employed in various companies, recently reached its 37th anniversary.

As part of their celebration for this milestone, its members from the Ecclesiastical District of Cebu City, Cebu, in the Philippines, led efforts to invite co-workers and acquaintances to either of two evangelical missions both held on November 17, 2023 in separate venues.

A number of them brought their guests to the Local Congregation of Minglanilla’s house of worship where the Bible study was led by Brother Joemar Dueñas, district supervising minister. Other CEA members accompanied their guests in the evangelical mission held at the Alaska Congregation’s house of worship, where another minister of the gospel, Brother Eli Suralta, preached the words of God.

“Even though I’m busy making a living, I will always allot time to help in the work of propagation,” said Jimmy Galvez, CEA member from the Cebu City Congregation. “I will continue uniting with the Church Administration, especially in spreading the words of God.”

One of the guests, named Renante Paragas, said he accepted the brethren’s invitation because he wants “to know more about the teachings upheld in the Church Of Christ, and how its members perform their services to the Lord God.” — With reports from Jemaima Jamito of INC News Section
