Church Of Christ members from the Ecclesiastical District of Central, in Quezon City, Philippines, once again showed their unity with the Church Administration in the works of propagation by, among others, actively participating in “Reconnect: An Evangelical Mission” conducted on February 20, 2022.

Streamed on “Iglesia Ni Cristo Evangelical Mission,” the official Youtube channel for the Church’s religious programs, the weblink to “Reconnect” was shared by the brethren to their loved ones, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances before the appointed time. Others brought their prospective guests to their respective houses of worship to witness the virtual evangelistic activity.

The program, which was streamed beginning 7:00 in the evening, focused on the frequently-asked-questions about the teachings of God upheld in the Church Of Christ. Answers to these were provided by ministers through the Bible.

Through the use of modern technology, Efren Torres, one of the head deacons in the Pasong Tamo Congregation, grabbed the opportunity to help spread the words of God to his friends and loved ones who are miles away from him. He explained, “The ‘Reconnect’ launched by the Church Administration gives us the chance to connect with other people by inviting them to listen to God’s teachings that we firmly uphold.”

Majah Maulion, a finance officer from Templo Central, said, “I am glad to participate in the activity because it helps many people understand what the Church Of Christ is all about.”

Brother Gerald Ventura, resident minister, of the Local Congregation of Macabud, in Brgy. Macabud, Rodriguez, Rizal, witnessed how the brethren strove to bring their guests to the house of worship.

“The brethren were united in inviting our fellowmen to share their faith. Thanks be to God, many of the guests expressed their interest to join the Church because of the teachings they have learned from the program,” he said. — With reports from INC News Section
