“Our brethren who volunteered to donate blood are more than willing to be of help to others,” said Brother Randolf Villajuan, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer of the Ecclesiastical District of Italy North.

The members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), whom he was referring, were from five local congregations, namely, Milan, Milan East, Milan West, Milan South, and Monza. They participated in blood donation drives conducted on May 27, 2023.

Brethren from Milan Congregation donated blood at San Raffaele Hospital while those from other congregations at Policlinico di Milano, another hospital in Milan. Buklod, KADIWA, and Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers led them.

“CMDPS promotes health awareness, such as prevention of diseases. This socio-civic activity is among the activities that we, its officers, lead,” said Denmark Remon, CMDPS officer from Milan Local Congregation. “Donating blood is very important because blood is really needed nowadays, especially in hospitals and health facilities,” he added. — With reports from Samantha Aquino of INC News Section
