To commemorate its 66th founding anniversary, the Local Congregation of Sta. Teresita, in the Philippines, held consecutive activities towards the end of August.

On August 29, 2022, a special gathering of the local was held in the congregation’s house of worship. Brother Mauro D. Balintag, the district supervising minister, officiated in the sacred occasion. During his preaching of the words of God, he taught the brethren about the importance of completely trusting in God no matter what happens. He reminded them of the biblical truth that God will not forsake His chosen people as long as they continue trusting in Him and remain serving Him.

“As a Church officer, I also experience a lot of trials and problems in life. However, I am able to do my duty and continue caring for the brethren because God helps me,” said Gonzalo Matignas Jr., one of the head deacons.

Two days after, on August 31, the brethren, led by the Church officers, joined hands for a Pasugo distribution activity. While handing out copies of the official magazine of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), the brethren also took the opportunity to invite their townmates to listen to the words of God. With God’s help, many guests turned out for the evangelical mission held later that day

Brother Joshua Garcia, the resident ministerial worker, shared: “Through God’s help and mercy, the brethren here in the Local Congregation of Sta. Teresita have responded actively in different activities launched in the Church, especially in the work of propagation. For instance, many of the households here in our local congregation were able to bear fruits, in response to the call of the Church Administration.” – with reports from INC News Section
