Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers and teachers from the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa, together with their parents, held a special gathering on December 18, 2021 for further spiritual edification they need in fulfilling their sacred duties.

Most of all, they altogether thanked the Lord God for His help and guidance in discharging their functions for the benefit of the young brethren under their care. They returned to Him all praises for the victories He granted to the CWS in the whole district.

In the homily delivered by Brother Elmer Miranda, the CWS officers and teachers were reminded of how blessed they were for having been entrusted with the duty of helping the Church Administration in teaching the children under their care with God’s words, especially during worship services.

The assistant district supervising minister also exhorted their parents to fully support their children, the CWS officers, in their task of leading the CWS members in the proper way of serving the Almighty God.

Part of the sacred occasion held at the Halifax, Nova Scotia Congregation’s place of worship was the oath taking of new CWS officers and teachers administered by Brother Edgar Hale, the resident minister of the said congregation.

Besides those gathered in Halifax, other brethren attended from their homes through videoconferencing.

In an interview, John Carlo , a CWS officer from Halifax, Nova Scotia Congregation, enthused, “We promise to be steadfast in our faith and to always be ready in performing our duties to God. We will help the Church Administration in teaching, guiding, and edifying the children in CWS to become faithful servants of our Lord God.” ― With reports from INC News Section
