One with the entire Church in commemorating the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) School For Ministers’ (INC-SFM) 49th anniversary, the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba conducted a special gathering of young male brethren on September 3, 2023, inspiring them to consider joining the ministry.

With them in attendance were their parents. The gathering at the house of worship of Winnipeg South Congregation was also witnessed by other attendees at their respective houses of worship via videoconferencing.

Brother Roland Andrade, district supervising minister, officiated at the said gathering. He explained to the attendees through a Bible-based lecture the Church’s need for more qualified male brethren heeding God’s call for them to join the ministry and be of help to the Church Administration in looking after the ever-growing Church.

“Through the words of God written in the Bible, we faithfully hope to encourage our young brothers in the district to consider joining the ministry, as this will be beneficial for the thorough edification of the brethren and for the greater extent of spreading the gospel,” said Brother Andrade.

Video presentations were also shown to the attendees. It featured select pioneer ministers who detailed how they braved the odds, such as intense persecution, during the Church’s nascent years. These “further inspired the young brethren who, if God willing, may soon become an able help to the Church Administration,” Brother Andrade added. — With reports from Eric Perey of INC News Section
