Two ecclesiastical districts—San Jose, Mindoro Occidental, and Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro—in the seventh largest island in the Philippines conducted baptisms on the 24th and 25th of November, respectively.

Brother Bright Ballesteros, district supervising minister of the former district, officiated the sacred occasion at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of San Jose; Brother Rodel Mañebog of the latter district at the Pinamalayan Congregation’s house of worship.

Before the actual baptism, the officiating ministers in each venue reminded the prospective members through Bible-based lessons about the value of being baptized into the true Church Of Christ.

One of the newly baptized members, Erano Escondo from the Caluya Group Worship Service (GWS), enthused, “I’m so glad that I am now a full-fledged member of the Church Of Christ.”

“The Church membership in our district is continuously increasing as the result of tireless efforts of the brethren in helping the intensified work of propagation,” said Brother Dexter Quitlong, Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer of San Jose, Mindoro Occidental District. — With reports from Denise Aguilo and Mira Narito of INC News Section
