A delegation of ministers, ministerial workers, and brethren led by the Eastern Samar District supervising minister, Brother Rico Melgar, travelled to Tubabao Island on August 26, 2022 to share the true Christian faith.

Tubabao, an island about four kilometers off the town of Guiuan, is home to more than 5,000 islanders whose main source of income is fishing (pna.gov.ph).

Upon disembarking from the motorized bancas the delegation came in, the brethren handed out copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine to the residents. They invited the islanders to the evangelical mission scheduled later that day at the covered court of the public elementary school in the village of San Juan.

During the study of God’s words, Brother Melgar taught from the Bible about the indispensability of the true Church Of Christ in receiving salvation when the Day of Judgment comes.

“It’s important to fulfill the commandment of God to propagate His words because the end is truly near. That’s why we went here to let the people know about the truth that leads to salvation,” said Brother Melgar, in an interview. — With reports from INC News Section
