Fun-filled ‘This is KADIWA’ held in Macau District

Donning their fine suits and elegant dresses, KADIWA members from the Ecclesiastical District of Macau entered the Bacarra Hall of Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 situated at R. do Visc. Paco de Arcos, Macau. There they held “This is KADIWA” on November 12, 2023 as their celebration of the golden anniversary of the KADIWA, the organization in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) for single members 18 years old and above.

The event began with a prayer led by Brother Raul De Leon, district edification overseer. Afterwards, the attendees enjoyed interacting with one another through a set of games prepared by each local congregation.

Music then filled the venue as song numbers featuring Iglesia Ni Cristo Original Music were performed. Among those sung were People of God, Give Him Glory by Maricel Ruiz, Aileen Ventura, and Teresse Florendo; Galing sa Iyo (From You) by Dindo Sadaran; Guide My Heart by Grace Espinosa; Enlightened by Jonathan Dela Cruz; and If That’s What It Takes by Jigs Pluma. All of them are from Macau Congregation. Berlie Miranda, from the Local Congregation of Taipa, sang I am Strong.

The event also included the awarding for the Mr. and Ms. KADIWA. Ildeponso Suarez, choir member from the Local Congregation of Macau was awarded Mr. KADIWA, while Celine Bumactao, finance officer from the Local Congregation of Taipa was proclaimed Ms. KADIWA.

The event concluded with a closing remark and prayer led by Brother Celestino Bacsafra, the district supervising minister.

“This is my first time to attend this event,” expressed Joanna Jaquias from the Local Congregation of Barra. “I feel very blessed and grateful to have a chance to meet and bond with other KADIWA members from different local congregations. This is inspiring and fun.”
