Remaining true to the Church Administration’s aim of looking after the spiritual welfare of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members, including those who are still studying, the leadership of the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) in the Ecclesiastical District of Batangas North, Philippines, held consecutive general assemblies on December 19, 2023. Brethren who are high school and college students attended the activities.

The first one was held at the house of worship of Bugtong na Pulo Congregation; the latter at the house of worship of Padre Garcia Congregation. Leona Nadine Banaira, CBI district president, guided by Brother Jefferson Remulla, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, was the guest speaker in both venues.

During the program, Banaira narrated the organization’s brief history. Afterwards, she reminded everyone that pursuing their studies while remaining active in their duties in the Church is possible with God’s help. Thus they must always seek His abiding presence by means of prayer.

“I am very grateful to the Church Administration for always guiding us not only in our studies but also in our services to God,” said Donna Katreen Sebastian, CBI chapter president of Tanauan Institute. “They wanted to make sure that, as we pursue our dreams, we never forget the most important thing—to fulfill our duties to God for us to be deemed worthy of His blessings, especially receiving salvation on Judgment Day.”

Mikah Alondra Omega, New Era University-Lipa City branch chapter president, iterated, “The activity today helped us know and set our priorities in order. Having learned about the CBI’s history left an impact to us INC students. I promise that I will remain to be of help to the Church Administration in looking after my fellow students not only in their studies but even more in the services to God.” — With reports from INC News Section
