The Himig ng Kaligtasan (Songs of Salvation)-KADIWA and Binhi Edition of the Ecclesiastical District of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, in the Philippines, concluded with the district finals that was held at the Bacolod City College Activity Center on July 16, 2023.

The event was organized by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers under the supervision of Brother Ronaldo Canlas, district supervising minister.

“The purpose of this activity is to showcase the talent of the youth while promoting the INC Original Music, which is not only edifying to Church members but also glorifying to our Lord God,” said Brother Jomar Corpuz, district CFO overseer.

Of the nine clusters of young brethren from neighboring local congregations that competed, the choral group from the F.Y. Manalo Cluster was declared champion; that of clusters Tangub, Victoria, and Cadiz placed second, third, and fourth, respectively. The winners were given trophies as their prizes.

“Being with my fellow youth, delightedly uniting with the Church Administration through this activity, is already a fulfilling experience; winning is just secondary,” said Jan Baron Lagdamin, Binhi president in the Local Congregation of Murcia. — With reports from Alyssa Suarez of INC News Section.
