Eight days after the “Care for Humanity” event that the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Santiago, Ecclesiastical District of South America held at Estadio Nogales in Santiago, Chile, they conducted yet another one, this time at Calle Grumete Bustos, Independencia, also in Santiago, on September 24, 2023.
“Esto ha sido un regalo, un momento lindo, tanto para las familias, los jefes de hogares, los niños puedan regocijarse y encontrarse con sus vecinos, con la comunidad y esto ha sido gracias a la ayuda que ustedes han hecho. Me encuentro muy agradecida, tanto yo como la municipalidad por esta actividad que ustedes han hecho. Estamos muy agradecidos (This has been a gift, a beautiful moment, for families, heads of households, children to rejoice and meet with their neighbors, with the community and this has been due to the help that you have given. I am very grateful, both I and the municipality, for this activity that you have done. We are very grateful),” said Jennifer Céspedes, one of the more than 30 Chilean or “chilenos” from the said area who received care packages, which contained essential food items such as rice, pasta, oil, and sugar.
“We here in Santiago thank Brother Eduardo Manalo, the Executive Minister, for his support in this endeavor,” said Brother Ryan Capuno, resident minister, who led the said humanitarian activity.
