Like their fellow Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members, brethren from the Local Congregation of Sto. Domingo, Ecclesiastical District of Ilocos Sur, hosted an INC Giving event. On April 19, 2024, they held a feeding program, benefiting  children in a day care center in the village of Calautit, Sto. Domingo, Ilocus Sur, Philippines.

The event began with a brief speech by Brother Erwin Galapon, resident minister. He explained that “the INC Giving programs of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) are socio-civic activities to assist people in need.” The feeding followed; school supplies were also provided to each child.

The local congregation leadership consulted “municipal records” in “choosing the venue for the feeding program,” said Rodel Tagorda, the head deacon.

On behalf of the daycare center, Ms. Ronalyn Tabbuan, a child development worker, said, “We’re delighted for this outreach activity, even the children’s parents. May you continue doing activities like this. Your love and care for children has been evident.”

“This simple act of kindness,” said Maria Victoria Tolve, a parent, “means a lot to our children.” — With reports from Edlyn Antolin of INC News Section
