INC Radio Macao is this year’s ‘Best Satellite Studio (Abroad).’ This was made more special as it was celebrating its fourth founding anniversary.

The satellite studio also garnered the ‘Best Episode (Abroad)’ award, for the episode that featured numerous activities in its anniversary celebration. And finally, staff member Karen Faith Simpleo was named ‘Best Satellite Producer (Abroad).’

The said recognitions were awarded during the “INC Radio Awards 2023” held on February 11, 2023 with EVM Convention Center’s GBS Hall in Quezon City, Philippines, serving as the host site.

The awarding ceremony was part of the commemoration of the 54th anniversary of the Christian Era Broadcasting Service International, Inc. which supervises the INC Radio, one of the media arms of the Church.

The INC Radio maintains 67 satellite studios (28 local, 39 abroad) from which finalists were chosen for the awards. Two of the awards, as it turned out, went to INC Radio Macao, especially the most prestigious one.

Brothers Eric Along, Chieng de Loa, and Waldemar Tarray Sr., ministers of the gospel serving at the INC Radio, handed over the trophies and certificates of recognition to the studio-awardees’ representatives, among whom was Karen Simpleo.

“The sacrifices were not in vain. All of these were possible only through God’s guidance. This recognition further motivates me to better my craft,” she said.

On behalf of the INC Radio Macao, Karen added, “We thank God for making our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, a dynamic leader who always inspires us in producing significant, memorable, refreshing, and timely episodes. These not only entertain and educate the viewers with life skills but, most importantly, impart Christian values to them.”

The Ecclesiastical District of Macau’s leadership staff led by the supervising minister, Brother Celestino Bacsafra, were in full support to the staff of the INC Radio Macao. Together with the District Multimedia officers, they attended the activity at the function hall of the Local Congregation of Macau’s place of worship linked to the host site through videoconferencing. — With reports from INC News Section
