The INC Radio, one of the media arms of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), on August 12, 2023 recognized the achievements of its satellite studios in Asia and Oceania.

In a fitting ceremony, the INC Radio awarded recognitions to top-performing programs and staff of its satellite studios in 15 ecclesiastical districts in the said region, such as in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Held at Chan Meng Kam Theater in Taipa, this year’s regional awards ceremony was hosted, for the first time, by the Macau Ecclesiastical District and was attended by the representatives of every satellite studio. Their fellow staff members witnessed the event through videoconferencing.

The INC Radio satellite studios and staff members who received awards for their outstanding performances this year were as follows:

Studio

Taiwan – Best Satellite Studio, Most Viewed Satellite Studio, and Best Inspiring Story

Australia – Best Segment, Best Story

South Korea – Best Values Plug

Macau – Hashtag Challenge Champion

Individual

Jerson Cuevas, Taiwan – Best Male Host

Daizy Jed Galang, Hongkong – Best Female Host

Cherry Rose Riñoza, Southeast Asia – Best Satellite Producer

Brendan Thompson, Australia – Best Director for Radio Drama

Mariel Agustin, Macau – Best Voice Talent for Radio Drama

Ian Josh San Gil – Best Musical Scoring for Radio Drama

“Our unity with the Church Administration is already a victory for all satellite studios. Thus, we will all go back at our respective districts filled with gladness,” said Jerson Cuevas.

“One that stood out for me was that even if the brethren came from different satellite studios, they were cheering for one another,” said Myrna Tinio, from the INC Radio main studio in the Philippines. “Everybody worked as one for the success of this event and we offer to our Lord God all the glory.” — With reports from Miraflor Rimerata of INC News Section
