In celebration of its 39th anniversary, the Ecclesiastical District of Iriga City, Camarines Sur, in the Philippines conducted a musical evangelical mission at the Iriga City Sports Complex on March 6, 2023.

Through this, brethren from the entire district not only gave praises and thanks to the Lord God for three decades of blessings but also shared their faith by bringing guests.

The program started with an opening prayer led by Brother Francisco Elson Ramirez, district Light of Salvation overseer. It was followed by the opening remarks from Brother Roy dela Peña, district supervising minister.

“It is God’s will for all people to come to the knowledge of the truth, which is none other than His words written in the Bible,” Brother Peña said. “That is why we keep introducing the true Church, that is, the Church Of Christ, to more people for them to also know His pristine teachings that we uphold.”

Talented brethren from 13 local congregations, namely, Bagoladio, Bato, Buhi, Bula, Buluang, Dolo, Goa, Iriga City, Lagonoy, Maharlika, Pararao, Sta. Justina, and Tigaon, rendered Iglesia Ni Cristo original songs. These included Huwag Patayin ang Ningas ng Espiritu Santo (Don’t Extinguish the Fire of the Holy Spirit), Ang Nasa Kahalalan Namumuhay sa Kabanalan (God’s Elect Strive to Live in Holiness), Tapat Hanggang Wakas (Faithful Until the End), and This Duty So Divine.

Zosimo Tanialas Jr., a guest, remarked, “This musical program is uplifting.” — With reports from INC News Section
