On April 15, 2022, members of the KADIWA organization in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary in Alberta, Canada bonded together through art appreciation.

Together they went on an art gallery tour at the Glenbow Museum located along Avenue SE, Calgary, Canada.

Before going to the museum the brethren first gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Downtown where they received activity-related reminders and instructions from Brother Emmanuel Español, the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer.

“Going out to meet the brethren is great. It gave us a chance to catch up as it is one of the first in-person activities after the lockdown has been lifted,” Racquel Manuel, Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher, and the KADIWA district president from the Local Congregation of Forest Heights, said. “Visiting the museum reminded me of how important it is to take a break from a hectic life, and just appreciate art pieces so that we don’t compromise our mental health from the many stresses,” she added.

Together with her fellow KADIWA members, Jolina Galera, the organization’s district vice president and a choir member from the Local Congregation of Falconridge “learned about many different art styles and how each medium is used to help convey a different message through the artwork.” — With reports from INC News Section
