“This is a joyful experience to be here today … I witnessed and appreciated your efforts in bringing happiness to one another, and even to us guests,” expressed Audrey Malabanan,  one of the attendees in the three-part program hosted for guests and doctrinal instructees by the Ecclesiastical District of Macau on October 29, 2023 at the Chan Meng Kam Theater, Taipa, Macau.

The program kicked off with a Welcome, My Brethren to inspire the new members. Brother Ruel San Gil, district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer, led the opening prayer, and delivered the opening remarks.

Attendees witnessed the solo, duet, and group performances of Iglesia Ni Cristo Original Music by talented brethren from various local congregations. They also joined in the parlor games.

“I’m so happy to be part of this activity,” said Amanda Oriondo, a Children’s Worship Service (CWS) member from the Local Congregation of Macau, who sang Child’s Prayer. “I promise to be always involved in every Church activity.”

A musical evangelical mission was held right after the Welcome, My Brethren. Choral groups presented song numbers including Magpapasakop sa Namamahala sa Iglesia by Macau Congregation, Isulong ang Ikapagtatagumpay ng mga Gawain sa Iglesia by the Local Congregation of Barra, Salamat po Aming Tagapamahala by the Local Congregation of Taipa, and Magpapasakop Nang Lubos sa Pamamahalang Mula sa Diyos by San Malou Congregation.

Brother Celestino Bacsafra, district supervising minister, delivered the closing remarks, and led the attendees in a prayer.

In the Care for Humanity segment of the activity, 200 care packages were distributed to the guests and doctrinal instructees by ministers assigned in the district.

“The Ecclesiastical District of Macau is united with the Church Administration in caring for our fellowmen. We will continue doing such work for this gives glory to the Lord God,” stated Brother San Gil. — With reports from Mar Agustin and KC Tuazon of INC News Section
