Magsaysay Congregation commemorates 73rd anniversary thru musical

The Magsaysay Local Congregation, in the Ecclesiastical District of Leyte West, Philippines marked a momentous event as it reached its 73rd anniversary of establishment on July 9, 2023.
The congregation’s members joyously celebrated the significant occasion with a musical program, which was filled with uplifting moments. Church officers from various departments performed heartfelt renditions of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music which brought added inspiration to the attendees.
“These kinds of activities give us inspiration, especially for us who are older,” remarked one of the participants, Trinidad Peninsula, an 88-year-old pioneer member and deaconess. “I am thankful that at this age, I was able to participate in such an activity, and it has brought me joy. Above all, I am thankful to the Lord God for giving me the strength to join this gathering and fulfill my duties. To God be all the glory.”
“This activity brought excitement to everyone and served as an inspiration to the brethren through the INC Original Music, whose messages deeply touch the hearts of all listeners,” said, Brother Gabby Macato, resident ministerial worker, “With all our hearts, we promise to the Lord God and to the Church Administration that we will not waver in our care and love for the Church.” — With assistance from Magsaysay Congregation’s Multimedia Team
