Malta congregations, GWS flock for INC Unity Games

The local congregations of Malta and Bugibba with the group worship services (GWS) in Luqa and Gozo, Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean, fielded four teams for men’s and women’s categories of basketball and volleyball. Individual players vied for chess, track and field, and darts.

Brother Milson Capuno, resident minister of the Malta Local Congregation, led the players in their oathtaking of sportsmanship.

After testing each other’s mettle, it was the Malta Congregation that was declared the overall champion, winning most of the said games, especially both men’s and women’s categories of basketball. The Bugibba Congregation won the volleyball games for men and women.

“It’s a privilege for me to lead this kind of activity because I do love sports. These Unity Games serve as a unique opportunity for all of us to come together, and strengthen the brotherhood through friendly competition while upholding faith, love, and camaraderie,” said Johnard Bernal, organizer.
