The 37th anniversary celebration of the Christian Employees Association (CEA) in the Ecclesiastical District of Manila, in the Philippines, was held through a special gathering for CEA officers and members on November 24, 2023.

Brother Wilson Cayago, district supervising minister, officiated at the occasion which was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Paco. He reminded the attendees, during his Bible-based sermon, to maintain a good relationship with their respective employers, and be hardworking in their line of work to become successful. “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty,” he quoted from the Bible.

Brother Cayago highlighted to the attendees that they must not forsake their primary purpose in life—to worship and serve the Lord God—for doing so will make them not only successful in life. More so, they will receive His promised salvation come Judgment Day.

“I thank the Church Administration for the tireless concern to us, members of the Church Of Christ. We’re always reminded to live in a Christian way of life wherever we are, be it at our workplace, or whoever we are with, to make sure that we do not lose our hope for salvation on Christ’s return,” said Charlene Fernandez from the Local Congregation of Tayuman. — With reports from Shaira Salangsang from INC News Section
