The Buklod family organization of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) reached its 61st anniversary in 2023. To mark the milestone, married members in the Local Congregation of Dancalan, Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, Philippines, invited guests to an evangelical mission on December 8, 2023 at their house of worship.

“The brethren in our local congregation wholeheartedly dedicated time and effort to invite and bring with them their loved ones, friends, and acquaintances in this evangelical mission,” said Brother Jet Felorino, resident ministerial worker.

“I thank the Lord God for giving me the chance to be His instrument in inviting people to the Church,” said Archie Olgasan, a deacon. “Though busy at work, I strive to find time to talk with my friends. Fortunately, they attended. I will continue taking part in the propagation work of the Church,” he added.

After a video presentation introducing the Church and its endeavors, Brother Jay Tamase, the district’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, preached a Bible-based lesson emphasizing the need for people to be saved on Judgment Day, which can only be done by being active members of the true Church Of Christ.

“The truth regarding the true Church has been made clear to me. I want to know more about God’s words written in the Bible,” said Edgar Saladaga, one of the guests who expressed their desire to know more about the Church. — With reports from Gayle Quimpo of the INC News Section
