Many converts were baptized in the Ecclesiastical District of Don Carlos, Bukidnon, in the Philippines, on December 30, 2023.

“I examined other religions before. However, in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), the answers to my questions come solely from the Bible,” said Ann Margret Yray, a newly baptized member, from Malinao, Kalilangan Group Worship Service (GWS). “That made me decide to join the Church. Thanks be to our Lord God for I’ve been baptized today and officially has become part of His nation in these last days.”

Brother Samuel Betoya, assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the baptismal gathering at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Maramag. During the study of God’s words, he reminded the baptismal candidates to hold on firmly to their election by always obeying God’s commandments for them to receive His blessings not only in this life but above all in the life to come—eternal life in the Holy City.

Marina Subido, a newly baptized, stated, “I am thankful to God for calling me in the Church. I promise to remain in my election, ever an active member so I can be sure of receiving salvation on Judgment Day.” — With reports from Mayline Mantagias of INC News Section
