Brother Mario Quiroz, assistant district supervising minister, led the sacred occasion. After the preaching of God’s words, the candidates took their oath of membership, and were immersed into the water for the actual baptism.

“I’m so thankful because among those baptized was my mother,” said Arnel Pendilla of Bogo City Congregation who was instrumental for the conversion of his mother-in-law, Carmelita Machiko. “Despite the struggles, she was baptized. I hope my entire family will eventually join the Church Of Christ.”

“I’m very grateful to God for His unfailing love, my baptism today as one proof. I’m now a member of the true Church,” enthused Carmelita. — With reports from Carmela Alquiza of INC News Section
