“I feel so blessed to be entrusted with a duty inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). I’ll fulfill it wholeheartedly,” affirmed Darling Myrh Paner from the Local Congregation of Malta, a newly sworn in missioner.

On December 24, 2022, during the special gathering of Church officers held by the Ecclesiastical District of Mediterranean, additional Church officers, including Paner, took their oath of office.

From the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Tel-Aviv, in Israel, which served as the host site, Brother Ramil Regino, district supervising minister, preached a Bible-based lesson, reminding those gathered of God’s expectation from those whom He appointed as officers in His nation. He assured them that as they continue to fulfill their sworn duties no matter what difficult situations they might be in, they should not lose hope because God’s words provide inspiration and guidance. He then encouraged them to firmly trust in God by being prayerful.

Not only those gathered at the host site benefited from the preaching of God’s words as Church officers from other local congregations and group worship services (GWS) in the district connected via livestreaming. After the homily, Brother Regino also administered the oath of the additional officers.

Shirley Azucena from the Local Congregation of Jerusalem said, “I will strive to be of help to the Church Administration, especially in sharing the true faith to my fellowmen.” — With reports from INC News Section
