More prospective members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Ecclesiastical District of Iloilo North, Philippines, received the true baptism on November 26, 2023. Brother Ray Policarpio, assistant district supervising minister, officiated the baptismal gathering at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Sara. He preached a biblical lesson emphasizing that being members of the true Church Of Christ is a privilege like no other—it is God-given.

Thelma Dela Cruz, one of those baptized, said, “Now that God let me receive the true baptism, I am confident more than ever for I know as I remain obedient, I will receive His blessings and His promised salvation.”

Brother Policarpio also highlighted the importance for the new converts to imitate the brethren who diligently led them to the true religion. He called on them to also be instrumental in leading more of their fellowmen into the true Church, for doing so gives glory to God.

“Seeing my grandmother got baptized,” said Annie Rose Delos Reyes, “warmed my heart. It has all the more fortified my promise to be ever zealous in my duties. I pray to God that I be able to introduce the true Church to more people, especially to all my loved ones.” — With reports from Jean Rago of the INC News Section
