The Ecclesiastical District of Negros Oriental, in the Philippines, hosted a skills development and team building activity for District Multimedia officers on March 19, 2022. The activity was held at Pandora Beach Resort, Bacong Road, Dumaguete, Negros Oriental.

Intended to sharpen the skills of the officers in content creation for the Church’s various media platforms, the activity provided a chance for the multimedia officers to evaluate and improve on their skills on news writing, media coverage, reporting, and video editing. To help them in these aspects, Jeff Naraja, District Multimedia director, facilitated a refresher course for the attendees, emphasizing once again the quality of work expected from them.

“Adding knowledge to multimedia officers about new equipment and techniques in media coverage will all the more help them in fulfilling their duties,” Naraja said.

Afterwards, during the team building, old and new District Multimedia officers engaged in various group games. Through the said games, they not only had fun together but, more importantly, were reminded of the importance of working together as a team so that they can achieve their goal.

“I am happy to be a District Multimedia officer. Through my Church duty, I can be of help in giving inspiration to the brethren by reporting the various activities of our district,” Feblits Sollano expressed.

“We thank the Lord God and the Church Administration for this activity during which the District Multimedia officers are continuously guided in performing their duties,” Brother Ariz Acuzar, District Multimedia adviser, enthused.

Brother Troy Calimpong, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, supervised the activity. — With reports from INC News Section
