The newly constructed edifice of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) School For Ministers (INC-SFM) Batangas Extension was inaugurated on January 19, 2024.

Now the ministerial students assigned in the Philippine province of Batangas have their own school building. They used to hold their classes at the New Era University-Lipa City Branch whose building is some minutes away from their new structure.

Brother Arnel Canicosa, INC-SFM President, led the ribbon-cutting together with Brother Eraño Augusto, supervising minister of Batangas North Ecclesiastical District.

This was followed by the unveiling of the building marker, which Brother Canicosa also led. The marker’s inscription was then read by Brother Lyndon Aguirre, INC-SFM Dean.

Afterwards, the INC-SFM President led everyone in attendance in touring the three-storey concrete building, which features classrooms, conference room, clinic, library, multipurpose hall, and cafeteria, among others.

“We are thankful to our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo Manalo, for allowing us to have a fine school building,” said Brother Marco Felix Ledda, a fourth-year ministerial student. “I will continue dedicating myself to studying and in fulfilling my duties in the Church.”

“This new school building is one of the blessings of our Lord God for His Church. He continues to utilize the Church Administration led by our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo Manalo, in looking after the welfare of the ministerial students, providing them facilities, such as this, more conducive for their studies,” said Brother Benhur Mendoza, INC-SFM Batangas City Extension’s Coordinator.

“On behalf of all the instructors of the INC-SFM here in Batangas, we promise to God and to the Church Administration that we will continue to strive in molding the ministerial students to become responsible leaders in the Church,” Brother Mendoza added.— With reports from INC News Section
