“I thank God for utilizing the Church Administration in providing us this beautiful house of worship. I’m all the more motivated to worship Him,” said Ronald Ybañez, head deacon of the Local Congregation of Pasig, in Claveria, Masbate, Philippines.

He was referring to the 100-seater concrete house of prayer constructed by the Church on a parcel of land that he donated to the Church. He led the Church officers and brethren from Pasig in praising God for this blessing to their congregation during the dedication worship service they held on December 9, 2022.

Masbate Ecclesiastical District supervising minister, Brother Nepthalie Panes, officiated the special gathering. His homily highlighted God’s expectation of His true servants to always give thanks to Him for all His goodness, especially in their lives.

For the brethren from the Pasig Congregation, one of these blessings was a bigger house of worship, which their congregation truly needed as their number has significantly grown through the years as a result of their concerted effort in sharing their faith to others.

The Pasig Local Congregation, currently supervised by Brother Rey Pereña as the current resident ministerial worker, was established in April of 1982.

“It’s fulfilling for me to be present during the first worship service in the new house of worship of our congregation, especially that I was blessed to be among the choir members who performed in our gathering,” Princess Manlangit, the congregation’s choir directress, enthused. — With assistance from INC News Section
