Inspired by the biblical truth, which is to always help those in need, the Ecclesiastical Districts of Italy North and Italy South held Care for Humanity events on October 22 and 27, 2023, respectively.

In Italy North, the said event was held at a function hall in Bologna, Italy. Hours prior to it, brethren prepared and decorated the venue. “Led by the Church officers, the brethren here were so eager to help in the event. Hand in hand, they made sure that the guests will feel welcomed,” said Brother Jan Bryan Barcebal, resident minister in Bologna.

In Italy South, the humanitarian event was held in partnership with Vo.Re.Co., a voluntary organization in Rome, Italy, which help and support those in dire need. Recipients of care packages were delighted having received warm welcome from the brethren.

“Today, I was able to feel a deep sense of solidarity and concern from the Church. I sincerely thank you for remembering us and reaching out to help us. It is so nice to see a group of people united in one good objective,” said Vittorio Trani, a Catholic priest and the said organization’s current president.

Supervising ministers of these districts, Brothers Randy Macalinao and Dyland Ramos, respectively, were hands on in leading these socio-civic activities. In both occasions, the brethren not only handed over care packages. They also showed the guests video presentations, which featured the Church Of Christ’s humanitarian endeavors, thus highlighting God’s will that is the Church’s noble intent in helping people. — With reports from Gellie Jugno of the INC News Section
