The Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe joined the Church-wide commemoration of the anniversaries of the Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) and Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS).

For this, the district leadership on February 18, 2022 called and led a special gathering of the members of the said organizations which had reached their 33rd and 3rd anniversaries, respectively, to give thanks and praise to the Lord God for His continued help and guidance.

Through videoconferencing, Brother Jake Aaron Edic, assistant district supervising minister, delivered a Bible-based lesson regarding the importance of being dedicated to fulfilling one’s Church duties. Church members from different local congregations in such countries as Finland, Norway, and Austria attended the gathering from their homes.

“Special gatherings are important, especially in this time when calamities are so rampant and with this pandemic that is affecting us. Many brethren, including those in SCAN and CMDPS, are exposed to these dangers, that is why we need the guidance and the strength coming from the Lord God through His words that are being taught in special gatherings,” Brother Edic said in an interview.

In response to the call to faithful service pronounced during their gathering, the congregants reaffirmed their resolve to perform their Church obligations despite the hindrances that they might encounter.

Nolly Villacampa, a SCAN officer from Helsinki, Finland Local Congregation, said, “I will serve our Almighty God, persevere through all struggles that I am facing so that I will be able to worship and honor Him even in difficult times. I will continue to submit myself to the Church Administration.” — With reports from INC News Section
