Nueva Vizcaya CWS members exhibit giftedness in Tagisan ng Talino district finals

Members of the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Nueva Vizcaya showcased their God-given knowledge of Church teachings and history in their district’s Tagisan ng Talino finals on June 4, 2023 at the function hall of Lotus Hotel in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
Ten finalists, one representing each of the district’s areas—Aritao, Bagabag, Bambang, Bayombong, Dupax, Ifugao, Kasibu, Quezon, Solano, and Villaverde—answered questions, which were divided into three categories: Pasugo, Church History, and Worship Service Lessons. The contestants with the highest overall scores received awards.
Jim Eraño Tabelina from Bayombong Congregation emerged champion. The first, second, and third runners-up were Leizel Maye Cardenas from Pulay Congregation, Zachary Villegas from Sinafal Congregation, and Benedick Bulosan from Villaverde Congregation, respectively.
“Of the many children not only in our local congregation but also in our area, I am grateful that my son was among those who participated in the district finals,” Jimmy Tabelina, father of the champion, said. “Every time the Church Administration launches activities such as this, we, parents encourage our children to take part.”
“Through activities like this, young members of the Church Of Christ … enhance their knowledge on Church-related matters and mostly, on God’s words,” Christopher Oria, event facilitator, said. “Also through these activities, children are molded to being God-fearing members of the Church,” he added. — With reports from Jollie Nicole Lacbayan of INC News Section
